New generation no pain, no downtime peels that noticeably rejuvenate skin
A series of no-downtime peels can visibly rejuvenate the skin
Those new generation chemical peels are actually oxymorons -- they repair and rejuvenate aging and damaged skin without visible peeling and also without pain, redness, or downtime. They are acid-based bio-stimulators triggering the skin to produce new collagen and elastin.
The degradation and loss of collagen and elastin is one of the top reasons for facial aging that starts manifesting in late 20-s to early 30-s.
The gold standard in facial peels is Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) that is well studied and has been used for decades to treat such signs of facial aging as major wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
TCA is a very strong acid that is used in medium and deep peels. It can reach into dermis stimulating production of new collagen and elastin. Unfortunately, to reach dermis, TCA has to burn through the epidermis, it has to destroy those upper layers of the skin.
That results in a burning sensation or pain during the procedure, followed by days of redness, sometimes swelling and subsequent intensive peeling. Discoloration and scarring are not very infrequent side effects after a TCA peel.
Because the upper protective layers are destroyed by a traditional TCA peel, that leaves the skin photosensitive -- very prone to damage and discoloration by sun. Sun exposure should be avoided for about a month after a traditional TCA peel, and obviously those peels should not be performed during the summer.

Sessions last about 30 minutes, provide immediate plumping effects without redness or visible peeling.
In our opinion, the result of those 4 to 7 sessions, depending on the person, is a face that looks 5 to 12 years younger.

Both products are considered medical devices and can only be performed as an in-office treatment.
